Lemon Pepper Chicken

This is easy and healthy and takes about 30 minutes to make. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that it is also cheap 😉

Ingredients (PER SERVING):

  • 1/2 tbs Olive Oil (EVVO preferred) 
  • 1 Chicken Breast (thawed)
  • Dash of Lawry’s Seasoning Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash Lemon Pepper Seasoning (add more to taste if needed)

lemon pepper chickenPreheat oven for 375 degrees.

Cut the Chicken Breast into 4 pieces. This helps the chicken cook faster. Cover the meat with the Olive Oil and then sprinkle each side with the seasonings.  I used to mix the Lawry’s and Mrs. Dash in a bowl then sprinkle it on. Now I just shake each one over it until I have them covered with enough (see photo).  Foil lined baking sheet works best with this recipe.

Bake for 8 minutes then flip the chicken over and bake for an additional 8 minutes. Check the temperature. It should be at least 165 degrees.  Add some healthy sides (I love just plain white rice and green beans with it).  This is one my favorite chicken recipes because it has a different taste and is soooo easy to make.
