Snowman Tealight Ornament

Tealight Snowman

This is my take on the Tealight Snowman Ornament that I have seen posted all over Pinterest and Facebook.  It’s an easy craft and doesn’t require too many materials.

The materials I used were: ribbons, battery operated tea light (Dollar Tree), some felt, googly eyes, and hot glue (other glue would work too, but I'm not patient enough).

I glued some ribbon onto the back of the tea light. It's important to avoid the battery case and the on/off switch.

I glued another piece of ribbon around the tea light then glued the hanging ribbon under it. This helps the ornament hang straighter.

The hat is a piece of felt with a ribbon glued on. Googly eyes make everything better-who doesn't like googly eyes? and I used a Sharpie to make the mouth.

I wanted the mouth to have more dimension so I used some black acrylic paint over the Sharpie dots. The snowman is very cute, but not very photogenic when the tealight is turned on.
