Dog owners need a place to hang their leashes, right? I hope this project inspires you! It’s pretty easy to do and the kiddos could help with painting and designing it. Materials needed for this are: a drill, paint, varnish (optional, but not really), piece of wood (I found this at Amazon), a hook (found this one at Menards) and some saw teeth hangers.
You can see here how I did the back of the sign. I do wish I put some felt pads at the corners to help it lay flatter on the wall, but that is also just something optional. There is a good chance that I’ll order another of these bone shaped wood pieces for future gifts. They are too adorable and easy to personalize!
