Have you seen that photo about how 3 bump peppers are “male” and therefore have less seeds then the 4 bump “female” peppers? Well, the gender info is incorrect. Fruit can’t be “male” and “female.” The bump difference is probably just a plant species quirk. I am not going to explain the science of it all. If you need more details, google it yourself. 😉
What I will tell you is that 3 bump peppers definitely do have less seeds then the 4 bump ones. This is most likely because of they tend to be smaller. The 3 bumps are also less abundant at the produce market/store. To be honest, I didn’t even realize there was a difference in the number of bumps on a pepper until I saw that facebook post (that I mentioned earlier).
