Grilled Pork Chops

Grilled Pork Chops

I make the best pork chops.  Well, it is technically a team effort in this house.  I do the seasoning and my husband (aka boyfriend from pre-wedding posts!) does the grill part.  Bone in Iowa Chops are the recommended pork chop.  Sometimes we get the regular (and significantly thinner) center cut chop with a bone.  These take less time, but are still great.  Either way, I grill mostly chops with a bone. This prevents curling and maximizes flavor.

Ingredients: Fresh Pork Chops Olive Oil Garlic Pepper Seasoning Lawry's Seasoned Salt
Ingredients:
Fresh Pork Chops
Olive Oil
Garlic Pepper Seasoning
Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
Cover each side of the pork chop with olive oil (about a teaspoon). Sprinkle a dash of Lawry's Seasoned Salt and TWO dashes of the Garlic Pepper. Then grill until meat is 165 degrees. Usually the hubby does 2 minutes on each side at first, then 3-4 minutes on each side at a lower heat. Times vary depending on how thick the chops are and how hot the grill is.
