Okay, this isn’t a “kid craft,” but it is a great activity to keep them busy and have fun. I am an after-school nanny for a couple of boys and developed this fun game where there is no winners and no losers (if you can make them believe that). Basically, we each take turns making up 3 rules for the drawing. Some examples of rules are: must be human, must have a mask, must have red pants (see above pic-which is the first thing I could find on hand to scan in for this post =).
When we are all done drawing our monster/alien/animal, we then take turns saying 1 compliment for each person’s drawing. It gives the kids a confidence boost, encourages creativity and can kill time on a rainy day. The only supplies needed are crayons, markers, pencils, paper and imagination.
