Ms. Jme’s OMG Delicious and Easy Cheesecake Brownies

I wish I took better pictures of my awesome Cheesecake Brownies. These things are seriously  melt-in-your-mouth  amazing.  Because I was afraid to eat the whole pan, I shared with friends. This saved me a few pounds =D
Inspiration for this recipe came from a red velvet cheesecake brownie, but since I didn’t want to make the brownie from scratch and work with food coloring I had to change it up. Also, I prefer my cheesecake recipe because it is more creamy.
Here are the ingredients:
1 box of FAMILY SIZE chocolate brownie mix.
4 tbs of chocolate syrup (NOT chocolate flavored syrup, only use real chocolate syrup)
1 package (block) of cream cheese, set out at room temperature for about 30 min-1 hour
1 large egg
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1tsp pure vanilla extract

  • Preheat the oven for 350 degrees.
  • Prepare the brownie mix according to the box directions. Add the chocolate syrup.  Pour into a 13 X 9 pan and set aside.   I lined my pan with parchment paper to make it easier to clean the pan.
  • Cut the cream cheese into small pieces and place in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Use a hand mixer (Or stand up mixer) and blend the cream cheese and powdered sugar together. It will probably stick to the beaters-no worries.  Add the other sugar and keep trying to blend together.
  • Add the egg and vanilla.  Keep mixing until the mixture is smooth and bump free.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mix onto the brownie batter. Make swirls with a butter knife.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes.  Ovens vary. My time was about 35 minutes.  Brownies are done when a knife is inserted in the middle and comes out clean.  Also, the cheesecake will be browned.
