Ms.Jme’s “Secret” to the Best Chocolate Cupcakes, Every Time

Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup is the key to my chocolate cupcakes. Never, ever, ever use the generic or faux chocolate syrups.  After following the directions on the cake mix box (or making it by scratch), add a good squirt or two of the syrup into the cake batter and stir it completely in.  I don’t even waste time measuring. If you are the type of person that has to measure everything and stick to the recipe, then add 4 tablespoons aka 1/4 cup.
