An imagination, some colored pipe cleaners, googly eyes and some foam sheets (optional) are all you need for this craft. A couple weeks ago I decided to experiment with items from a big bucket of miscellaneous craft items I purchased at Wal-Mart. It was fun twisting the pipe cleaners into shape and gluing the eyes on. It kept me and the kids busy for awhile while we came up with different animals and designs to make.
Pipe Cleaner Animals can make cute refrigerator magnets or glue a thumb tack on the back and use them to decorate a cork board. Of course you don’t have to buy a kit like I did. You can also just buy pipe cleaners separate in any color combo that you want, and it is fairly cheap too. Of course you can tell that my photos are not the best (thanks to an old camera phone) but I think you can see some of the fun you can make.
